Be Precise
Regents Lab #1
On this evidence I plotted several points of shipwrecks and plane crashes. I was plotting to see if there was a correlation to where an accident happened and where they think the Bermuda Triangle is. I got an MS on this lab because I wasn't always consistent or accurate with my plotting. For example, on letter A, It is supposed to be 17º but I plotted it on the 15º line. I need to work on my estimation and accuracy so my points are plotted correctly.
Be Precise
Regents Lab #2
On this evidence I calculated gradient to show how the slope is changing from point A to point B. The formula for the equation involves subtracting two elevations, and dividing it between the distance between them. I read the distances wrong because I was counting down instead of up. This gave me inaccurate numbers for the first half of the equation. I need to work on estimating better so that my final answer is more accurate as well. I will continue to improve my using correct units, rounding, and following the steps of the formula.
